Training Apparel 

Athletes selected into the program will receive three items as part of their training fee: 
 - Long sleeve training shirt 
 - Playing/training singlet/crop
 - Playing/training shorts 
These items create consistency across the program and support our identity at events. 

Long Sleeve Training Shirt 
This is similar to last years design and required for all athletes, regardless of group. 
We will advise when the long sleeve is mandatory for a session or event. It is generally suitable for evening trainings and is preferred attire between matches at events, noting that weather conditions in different states may limit use from time to time. 

Playing/Training Singlet or Crop
For the singlets you may choose either pink or white. Pink is the recommended option due to the durability in Lyneham sand. White is available but tends to not stay white for long. This year we are introducing a pink crop top as well, but I want to make sure the ladies know that the singlets are women's cut and you can choose whichever you prefer. 
Singlets/Crops are highly encouraged at ACT Beach Series, on other state tours and any other social events where uniforms are not supplied. Sometimes when travelling, the instruction is to "wear something pink" for photos or training and the singlets are sometimes a more weather appropriate option then the long sleeve. 

Playing/Training Shorts
You may choose: 
Black with a pink stripe 
Black with a blue stripe 
Black with a purple stripe (ABVT Elite athletes only)
All shorts have your surname on the back. 
Men: Shorts are expected at all national events as part of our program branding. They are encouraged at lower-level events (i.e. beach series) and at training when practical. 
Women: The shorts meet all national uniform requirements. You are welcome to compete in them, but you should play in what you are most comfortable in. At events, we appreciate when you can wear the shorts around the venue, acknowledging this is not always practical.
