Tom Attrill: Pushing the boundaries
Tom Attrill holds a special place in our history, responsible for a huge number of CBR Beach Volley's firsts. He was the first to play in the ABVT Elite, the first to compete on the World Pro Tour, and the first to win a gold medal at ABVT. Tom consistently pushed through limits, proving that there was more out there to be achieved in beach volleyball. His trailblazing spirit set a high standard and showed everyone what was possible.
Tyler Nix: Dedication that transformed
Tyler Nix may have only played half a season with us, but his impact was monumental. Through sheer dedication, he changed the landscape of what we had. Tyler trained more than anyone else, consistently asked thought-provoking questions, and achieved remarkable results. While we wished we could have had him for longer, the powerful example he set for commitment and excellence meant everything to the emerging group. He showed us the true meaning of putting in the work.
Jake Greber: The game changer
Jake Greber's influence on CBR Beach Volley is a personal one for our head coach. He challenged and changed the way she thought about the game, opening up possibilities that would not have existed had he not been in the right place at the right time. His insights and approach ultimately led us to where we are today. Jake also deserves a special mention for returning a few years later, making a cameo appearance that further solidified the bright future ahead for the club.
